I came to Stone Creek last year for the first time, drawn mainly by the region. However, once my wife and I arrived, and were treated to the first class accommodations and service, we really enjoyed the hunt. We saw many trophy class deer, and I shot a great 8-pointer. I would recommend any husband-wife team that really likes to get away without the hassles to try here first. Warm comfortable cabins, first rate camp cooking, running water. It just doesn't get better than this. I have already booked us for next season.

Thanks for a great hunt, Everything was as your web site said. The food was great, sleeping quarters were more than adeqate. I am very pleased with the buck I took. It's not one for the record books, but for a totaly fair chase hunt a good buck is a good buck. For your info he was 14 1/2'' inside and 13 1/4'' high and of course almost a perfect 8 point. He'll make a very nice euro mount.

My wife and I hunted with Thad in late Nov. 2003. The food and accommodations were great. Thad is a very good guy and the rules of the ranch are very clear. No hidden fees etc. Straight up & honest people. We got the chance to meet some good people while we were there. On the first day 6 deer were taken. My wife got her first deer & I took an 8 pointer. 20 minutes after the shot there were more deer roaming around. It was such a good experience that we returned bringing 2 more hunters with us in late December 2003. My wife took an 8 pointer and I a spike on that trip. We plan to return this year. I'm glad I found Stone Creek Outfitters on the internet and decided to give them a try. I saw a lot of deer and turkey. I took an eight point, a cull buck and a Gobbler. I had an excellent time with a nice place to stay, great food and wonderful people. Looking forward for this hunt next year.

I really enjoyed hunting with you at Stone Creek. The hill country was beautiful. I have never seen so many deer. I saw 7 or 8 nice bucks.
I look forward to hunting this year again with you at the ranch. The stands you have are very comfortable and I like the fact that you allow hunters to stay all day if they wish. I'm bringing some friends from Georgia with me this year and I know they will have a great hunting experience also.

Stone Creek was my sons and I first "QUALITY" hunting experience. On our first day to this top notch hunting camp we had the opportunity to shoot our first deer. Little did we know that two more bucks would walk out within the next ten minutes and gives us the opportunity to miss a shot at them. But who ever gets three opportunities to shoot at bucks on the same evening. Enough said. The accommodations are outstanding with great rooms with air conditioning even. Not to mention a real shower and a commode. The camp cook Gilbert did an awesome job feeding us and guiding. This is a first class hunting camp with the best accommodations and wildlife we have seen yet. Looking forward to coming back next year.
